I am writing to inform you that Paul Dobing will step down from his position as CEO of Developing East Arnhem Limited (DEAL).

Following the recent strategic review process conducted by Social Ventures Australia (SVA), the Board and Paul have agreed this is the right time to consider new leadership.

Paul has been an important and highly respected member of our team for the last 3 years, leading the organisation with integrity and dedication.

During his tenure Paul has made a number of important achievements, playing a pivotal role in critical projects on the Gove Peninsula, supporting governance in a range of areas, and has helped DEAL to strengthen relationships with stakeholders and Yolŋu communities in the East Arnhem region.

Paul’s last day in the office will be 26 June 2024. During this period, Paul will remain in his role as CEO and will work closely with myself, the Board, and the DEAL team to continue delivering on our priorities and support an orderly transition.

We will commence the search for a new CEO immediately.
